VISION

The vision of The Great Sidney Farmers’ Market is to link regional farmers, growers, and producers with consumers, putting fresh, wholesome, regionally sourced foods in the hands of those who most need and desire them.

MISSION

The mission of The Great Sidney Farmers’ Market is to strengthen the health of our citizens and visitors; increase sales of our regional food producers and local businesses; improve the environment; and build community. We will accomplish this mission by providing a marketplace where farmers, growers, and producers will directly sell their fresh, regionally sourced goods to consumers; and where community members can come together on a regular basis in a pleasant, safe, and festive atmosphere.

The Great Downtown Sidney Farmers Market is open each Saturday morning beginning in late May and running through the middle of October each year. The hours of the market are 8:00 am to noon each Saturday.  Vendors come from all around the area to sell their wares.

The market is “the place to be” on Saturday mornings throughout the season.  Crafters offer a large variety of homemade items, and farmers bring their freshest produce to tantalize your taste buds.  Fresh baked goods and jams and jellies are always a crowd pleaser.  Plants and flowers are abundant.  Shop early for your best selection!

Entertainment is brought in on various occasions, and it all blends in with the ambiance of the court square to make each Saturday a great stroll around the downtown.

SINGLE DAY PERMITS: All applications are DUE TWELVE (12) days prior to the Saturday you plan to join us. Registration for vendors wishing to do a single day permit are only available through the link below. Payment must be received with registration.

Available space for single day permits is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please review the rules and regulations to determine if you are an accepted vendor type.

If your permit is not accepted for a date, we will notify you and refund your fee. 

If you are accepted and decide to not attend the market, your fee is non-refundable, per our policy. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR A DATE YOU ARE NOT CERTAIN YOU CAN ATTEND.

We may be able to move you to another date, pending availability. You MUST contact us to make arrangements.

A waiting list will automatically be generated when available spaces fill up.

Priority for space is as follows: Food Vendors > Craft/Plant Vendors > all others.

Note: Currently, we do not allow booth set-up to individuals who are with direct sales companies, individuals who wish to advertise personal political campaigns, or church groups to pass out information. Vendors must be of the vendor types listed in our rules & regulations. You may, however, participate in other various events that we host (i.e., Festivals & other activities). Online applications are available below and the most efficient way to submit applications. You will receive a confirmation email when your online application is submitted as well as a receipt.
