Win the Window Promotion – Quarterly

Patrons can enter at participating businesses for a chance to win a great package of local prizes.

May 27th – October 14th: The Great Sidney Farmer’s Market

Join us every Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to Noon! The market is “the place to be” on Saturday mornings throughout the season.  Crafters offer a large variety of homemade items, and farmers bring their freshest produce to tantalize your taste buds.  Fresh baked goods and jams and jellies are always a crowd pleaser.  Plants and flowers are abundant.  Shop early for your best selection!

September 9th : Taste of the Market

Grab one of our passport books to sample great items on your way around the square. After you have completed your passport, turn it in for a chance to win a great prize!

September 8th: Annual Downtown Chocolate Walk

Join us as we tour downtown businesses while enjoying samples of delicious chocolate treats! Tickets are $15.00 each and go on sale on August 1st. Tickets are limited. This is an 18 and up event.

September 28th: Open Air Dinner on the Square

Imagine a stunning single table set for 100 guests. White tents, table linens and beautiful decor and twinkle lights surrounding you as you enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner with a glass of wine included. Live music provided by the Muleskinner Band and a local artist will be on hand. A cash bar will be available for the purchase of additional wine. Classic lemonade, ice tea, and water will be provided.

You don’t want to miss this grand event!

All proceeds will be donated to Sidney Alive to help them reach their mission to revitalize Downtown Sidney to benefit the quality of life in Sidney and Shelby County.

October 14th  Fall Festival/Closing Day of The Great Sidney Farmer’s Market

Ghosts, goblins, superheroes and princesses will gather downtown for a costume contest and activities! A costume contest for ages 0-12 years will be held with registration from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with the contest beginning at 11:00 a.m. Visit Amos Memorial Public Library, Ron & Nita’s & Amos Memorial Public Library for more fun! Some participating downtown businesses will also pass out candy.

2017 Fall Festival Art-Craft Vendor Form

October 28th: Murder/Mystery Dinner Theatre

You are the unfortunate inmates and staff at Penderghast Asylum, a facility for the criminally insane that has been turned over to the tender care of Dr. Abraham Weiler, who is using the inmates as research subjects in his quest to find a cure for the zombie virus ravaging the world. Tickets are for Starring Roles (main characters) and for Supporting Roles (extras on set) for the game. You don’t want to miss this fun, interactive game of clue!
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner begins at 7:00 p.m.

November 17th: Winter Wonderland Parade

See our downtown all dressed up for the holidays and enjoy a wonderful evening parade, complete with Santa & Mrs. Claus! The Reason for the Season Lighting Ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. with the parade stepping off at 7:30 p.m. We ask that all spectators remain on the sidewalk during the parade for everyone’s safety.

December 2nd: Christmas of Yesteryear, Times Vary

Enjoy the sights, tastes & sounds of a Historic Downtown Sidney Christmas, complete with horse & carriage rides. It’s a great time to shop local and finish up those Christmas lists too! Check out our flyer, closer to the event!
